Let’s be honest – I am still full from Thanksgiving. We had so much food for only a few handfuls of people. I made recipes days in advance and woke up extra early on Thanksgiving to make sure everything was perfect. This year, it was my turn to host the “big dinner” and I wanted to do it right. I bought new linens and researched recipes that I knew everyone would love – even the little ones. As my family trickled in, and dinner was served, I stopped and thought to myself “all of this preparation and it’s over just like that”.
